Stop Replacing — Start Lifting
If your driveway, garage floor, walkway, or patio has sunken concrete, you don't need a tear-out. Polyurethane foam injection (polyjacking) lifts and stabilizes the slab in 1–2 hours, costs 50–70% less than replacement, and lasts longer. It's one of the most common concrete fixes across Wayne County.
Polyjacking vs. Old-School Mudjacking
| Feature | Polyjacking | Mudjacking |
|---|---|---|
| Hole size | 5/8" (penny-sized) | 2" (golf-ball sized) |
| Cure time | 15 minutes | 24–72 hours |
| Weight added | 2 lbs/cu ft | 100+ lbs/cu ft |
| Waterproof | Yes | No (washes out) |
| Lifespan | 30+ years | 5–10 years |

- Garage floors — $1,500 to $4,000
- Sidewalks and walkways — $400 to $1,200

- Industrial / warehouse floors — quoted by job
How It Works
- We drill 5/8" holes at strategic points in the slab
- Inject two-part polyurethane foam under pressure
- Foam expands, fills voids beneath the slab, and lifts it to level
- We patch the holes — invisible after 1 week of weathering
- You can drive on it in 15 minutes
When NOT to Polyjack
If the concrete itself is cracked beyond saving (multiple deep cracks, crumbling edges, rebar exposed), replacement is the right call. A reputable contractor should recommend replacement when damaged concrete is no longer a sound lifting candidate.
